SEO is dying....
I built my first $100,000 business off of websites, agency websites, blog posts and email, so it gives me no pleasure to say this... but you need to hear it.
SEO is dying, and it'll be dead within a year or two.
Keyword traffic is down 80% in the last 6 months across many major websites , including the ones I manage.
Google is openly putting search results on the back burner, and going all in on AI for answering people's questions. They no longer want people visiting your blog posts for answers.
They want people to stay on Google. And as tools like ChatGPT become more accessible to the mainstream, fewer people will use Google search when they want to know the answer to something.
E-commerce will continue to thrive, but the way you drive organic traffic to your site is changing. Keep up!
What's working now is high-quality, trust-building content - on sites like LinkedIn, X, and YouTube - with the option of joining a community, and that's where you make your offers at.
Or, high-quality, trust-building content, with a direct response call to action inside the content. People don't want to read your keyword-stuffed, fluff-filled blog posts anymore... and Google doesn't want to send them there. It worked 10 years ago.
It's barely holding on today. And it won't work at all in the near future. Stop acting like a dinosaur in the tar pits.
Evolve.
Or watch your business go the way of the dodo bird.
